What are glycerites and why glycerine instead of alcohol?

Glycerites are herbal extracts made with vegetable glycerin instead of alcohol.  Glycerin is naturally sweet, gentle on the stomach, and works beautifully for both adults and kids.  It’s our preferred base because it makes herbs accessible to everyone-no burning, no alcohol sensitivity, and no compromise on potency.

Are your herbs organic/ where do you source them?

We source from a small group of trusted suppliers who prioritize quality and transparency.  Most of our herbs are organically grown or ethically wildcrafted.  When we bring in a new herb, we request a Certificate of Analysis to verify quality before it goes into a single bottle.

Are your products safe for kids?

Several of our blends are formulated with kids in mind and use herbs with strong safety profiles.  We include child dosing guidance on every applicable product.  As always, we recommend checking with your child’s healthcare provider before starting any herbal supplement, especially for children under 2.

How long until I notice results?

It depends on the herb and what you’re supporting.  Some herbs work quickly-you may notice effects within an hour or a few days.  Others, like adaptogens and alternatives, build gradually over weeks of consistent use.  Herbal support is most effective when it’s part of a consistent routine.

Are your products FDA approved?

Our glycerites are not FDA approved and we don't make claims to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.  Revival Herbs products are herbal supplements intended to support general wellness.  We believe in the power of plants-and in being honest about what they are and what they aren't.

Are there any herbs I should avoid with medications/pregnancy?

Yes- some herbs are not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or alongside certain medications-particularly blood thinners, thyroid medications, and immunosuppressants.  If you're pregnant, nursing, or managing a health condition with medication, we recommend consulting your midwife or healthcare provider before use.  When in doubt, we're always happy to help point you in the right direction.
